Why J. L. FRY Research & Referrals
Prior to his recent retirement, John L. Fry was employed for over 39 years in the investigative field both as a criminal investigator for the federal government, and as a licensed North Carolina private investigator. Over the course of these many years it has been become abundantly clear, that no one person can excel in all areas of their trade, private investigators are no exception. The professional private investigator is no different that a lawyer, doctor, carpenter, or any other professional. They may excel in 1 or 2 areas of their trade, but lack the knowledge, training and expertise in other areas. As the prospective client you do not want to waste your time, money, and the sensitive nature of your request on just anyone; this is not the time for on the job training.
Your investigator should not only excel in the area of investigations that best suits your situation, they should also be knowledgeable of what methods and sources are legal to obtain and use, and what areas to stay away from. Use of such unethical, unprofessional, illegal practices and/or sources could cause your case to evaporate right before your very eyes, and may cause you un-needed legal expenses.
Your investigator should provide you with a contract spelling-out his obligations and commitments,
and those of the client's financial obligations. As the client you should receive periodic updates as to the status
of your investigation, how the investigation is proceeding, and the working balance remaining in your account.
You as the client should pass on to your investigator anything information which you believe pertinent to your investigation. However,
you should never intervene into the investigation unless specifically requested to do so by your investigator. Remember it is their expertise
you are paying for.
